Week 3

As my mom always says, “This is where the rubber meets the road”. Next week is where I will attempt to pick my first lock. Thanksgiving break will be extremely boring for me and this will be the perfect time for me to slip out and attempt to pick my back door lock. I have not purchased my lock pick set but I have a couple places in mind that might have a set. Gilbert's Hardware and the Ace by my house and the local locksmith shop.

I was walking with a friend of mine to lunch and he mentioned a bump key. I was very perplexed to what a bump key was? I Googled it and it is a fake key that you can put into most locks and with minimal pressure turn the key in the lock, and then tap the end of the key and the key will strike all of the pins inside the tumbler and the lock will open. So I might attempt to make one of those as well.

Week 2

I have so many good ideas for projects that I want to do so I have chosen lock picking as my first. I want to learn how to  pick a lock because I think it would be really cool and it might come in handy if I can learn how to open a door without a key. After watching countless James Bond movies and a handful of Dexter seasons, I really want to learn how to pick locks. I searched the internet and I have found a beginner’s lock picking set, but I’m going to check the hardware store to see if they have a lock pick set, and skip all of the ordering online stuff. The beginner’s set comes with a book but I will find a tutorial online or a book at the library. Hopefully, I will have time on Sunday to look for a set.

My other possible projects for this year:
Photoshop
Learning how to become a better photographer/using a digital camera
Riding a uni-cycle
Woodworking
Metalworking
Stringing a traditional lacrosse stick
Building my own road bicycle

Week 1 20 time

It took me along time to figure out what my project was going to be. I couldn't choose what I wanted to do but then I realized I would try to do all of them. Every month I am going to attempt to do something on my list of projects. Whether that be wood working, or metal working or anything else I want to do.
